Bjørg Pauline - The world's first hybrid wellboat is delivered

The world's first hybridwellboat,"Bjørg Pauline",is delivered to Nordlaks and is on her way towards Norway.

Havbruk

Designed to operate at demanding and weather-exposed localities

The wellboat uses LNG-electrical propulsion and shore-power connection, and this will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to a more sustainable industry!

This is a top-modern wellboat that is designed to meet the future demands for handling live fish. Among other things, it will be able to operate in more demanding and weather-exposed localities, for example, the ocean farm "Jostein Albert" owned by Nordlaks, the project manager from Cflow, Thomas Storhaug inform.

Close collaboration has resulted in tailor-made design and optimized solutions

Cflow has delivered the fish handling system onboard; this includes gentle loading and unloading, combined grading and dewatering unit, and a tailor-made hydraulic quick connection for safe transferring between ocean farm and wellboat.

- Everything is developed through interdisciplinary collaboration between engineers and biologists to secure that the fish welfare is optimized in every process on board. The close collaboration between Nordlaks, NSK Ship Design, and Tersan Shipyard has resulted in excellent solutions, both for the fish and the operator onboard.

Thomas and the rest of the crew at Cflow congratulate both shipowner Nordlaks and crew on board with their new wellboat!
