We are strengthening our commitment in Central Norway in an effort to be closer to our customers

Cflow has hired Øyvind Prestvik at their regional office at Blåbasen in Trondheim. Here, Cflow joins several other businesses and colleagues from the aquaculture industry. It has become important to Cflow to strengthen their presence in this region, both to be closer to their customers and the industry competence here.

A natural step for Cflow

- Region Central Norway currently has some of Norway's largest aquaculture facilities and is the home of several of Cflow's customers and partners. As a result, expanding to this region has been a natural step forward. Central Norway also has an excellent environment of innovative and competent people within fisheries and aquaculture. Having a location close to this environment will be beneficial both to us and to our customers, says Cflow's marketing director, Gunnar Hoff.

Establishes service centre

To make service maintenance even more accessible Cflow is establishing its own service centre connected to Blåbasen, where we will be able to maintain smaller parts, work on development, and keep some spare parts stocked.

Will contribute greatly to the professional environment

- We are very pleased to have Øyvind Prestvik on our team, and strongly believe this will strengthen our position as a full-service supplier to the aquaculture industry. Prestvik's years of experience from fish farming will benefit us greatly in a growingly demanding market, Hoff says.

Prestvik holds a Master's degree in aquaculture from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and is coming to us from Salsnes Filter, where he has spent the last 7 years as Director of Sales and a Business Developer in the aquaculture field. He has great expertise in water treatment and conceptualizing new solutions for the industry. Additionally, he has extensive experience with research and project management from SINTEF.

Prestvik is the sixth person Cflow has hired with an education in biology, and his scientific background will greatly contribute to Cflow's professional environment.
