Cflow Fish Handling AS is pleased to announce that Cflow Fish Handling AS merges with its parent company as a part of the corporate group reorganization. With this merger we seek to simplify the corporate group structure and administrative work. This merger is expected to take effect on September 7, 2020.

New concept: Service vessel with compact processing factory

Cflow has, together with ship owner company Charvest, developed a complete fish handling solution for a new type of service vessel. The solution is designed to increase fish welfare and efficiency, as well as contribute to the development of a sustainable industry. Charvest's new service boat Csaver, also called Minibløgger’n, is the first of its kind and has already gained good experience with the slaughterhouse on board.

The local industrial company Cflow in Langevåg is working to create ever better solutions for products and services in the field of fish handling. The focus is always on fish welfare and the environment. We can therefore say that innovative, knowledgeable managers and employees of the company are shaping the aquaculture industry and driving it forward. At the same time, they make working life better for end users all over the world. Operations are streamlined and more sustainable. Some unconventional choices, great courage and ability to see solutions proved to be success factors for the mechanical industrial company that started in 2002. During these years, Cflow has gone from about ten employees to almost one hundred.

HSE Officers on behalf of the fish

Annalin Fasting and Maiken Svinøy are two of the four biologists at Cflow. During their studies at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Ålesund, they had not envisaged that they would have the opportunity to work in an industrial company. However, nowadays, they work closely with various professions in Cflow, focussing on fish welfare at all stages.
