New concept: Service vessel with compact processing factory
Cflow has, together with ship owner company Charvest, developed a complete fish handling solution for a new type of service vessel. The solution is designed to increase fish welfare and efficiency, as well as contribute to the development of a sustainable industry. Charvest's new service boat Csaver, also called Minibløgger’n, is the first of its kind and has already gained good experience with the slaughterhouse on board.
Efficient emergency slaughter at the net pen
The service vessel is specially developed to offer the fish farming industry fast emergency slaughter at the edge of the net pen. Here, fish can be removed and humanely slaughtered instead of dying in the net pen. This ensures good fish welfare, increased resource utilisation and more high-quality products. The vessel can also perform other service tasks when needed.
How does the concept work?
The concept is based on the idea that the deck area should be available for performing various types of service assignments, as required. The mobile processing plant is therefore located below deck. Loose, small-scale storage tanks can be easily moved to other vessels for transport and further processing on land. The tanks can also be replaced as needed during operation without the slaughter vessel having to abort the slaughtering.
The service vessel's unique advantages and goals
High level of utility with flexible and mobile solutions
Increased fish welfare
Increased quality of the end product
A service vessel with Cflow's Compact Processing Factory is the ultimate all-in-one solution for fish farmers that provides increased fish welfare and product quality while reducing waste - all thanks to smart and space-saving solutions.
